Flew up to Crystal Mountain
Happy New Year!
We were hoping to fly yesterday but it never burned off. Today wasn't really supposed to either but it did. Darin decided to stay home and work on his RV-10 and Harry had a problem with his engine monitor so it was just me. I've always wanted to fly over Crystal Mountain where we snowboard so I decided to do that.
Definitely some low clouds hanging around...
but the Cascades were spectacular.
The ski resort is just on the other side of these closest hills...
A little hard to see, but if you look closely you can see the chair lifts and lodges around.
It was very hazy flying Westbound.
