Flew down to Scappoose, Or.
Today was supposed to be the only good day of the week weather wise. (There's been a lot of rain lately.) It never got great, but by 4PM most stations along the I-5 corridor all the way to Portland were calling scattered at 2500 and broken or overcast at 4 or 5 thousand. I found most of the lower bases to be at about 3000 and was able to fly most of the trip between 2500 and 3000.
A better overall picture of the weather.
Off to the left you can see Mt. Rainier if you have x-ray vision.
Rain showers here and there.
Getting some pretty good mileage here running Lean of Peak at 65% power.
Scappoose Airport just beyond the water.
About the same on the way home.
