Airventure 2015 Day 2
We got an early start and were wheels up out of Coeure d' Alene at 5:30am.
Following I-90 into the Rockies it was super smooth.
Refueling in Townsend, MT where 100LL is down to $4.40 a gallon!!
We took the loaner van into town for a great breakfast at The Mint Restaurant.
Our only weather to speak of was around Miles City Montana but it didn't last long.
The second stop today was Pierre South Dakota. They have full service fuel and a really nice FBO.
Out of Pierre we picked up a very nice 30 to 40 kt tail wind that carried us all the way to Oshkosh.
Cruising along at 210mph only buring 6.7 gallons per hour.
Just turned 600 hours on the hobbs
