Townsend to Home.
We got to talk to Brian for a bit this morning and then took off about 7am. (Brian lives in Townsend and built his RV about the same time I built mine.)
Still awake, for now....
When we got a preflight weather breifing this morning they said no adverse weather, clear skies and light winds. By the time we made it to the Cascades there were some pretty large build ups and they had issued a Center Weather Advisory. They were calling for showers and embeded thunderstorms in and West of the Cascades. Fortunately we had left early and just beat it. A friend flying home a little later actually had to divert and hang out in Cle Elum for a bit.
Wow what a great trip! We are so glad we went. The total distance ended up being 3059 nautical miles.
