Friday Afternoon IMC


I really didn't think I would even fly today but was planning on swinging by the hangar anyway. When I got there the sky looked great for some actual IMC. I filed an IFR flight plan from Thun Field to Thun Field and planned to fly the GPS 34 approach a couple of times.

I picked up my IFR clearance on the ground and was released shortly after.

Quite a few clouds around at different layers. I was in pretty quick after takeoff, then out, then back in, then out, then in for the procedure turns.

















Great practice today for the real thing, wait that was the real thing!!
