11/8/14

Flew up to Port Townsend for Lunch with Chad and Bekah. Michael Burbiage also came with his new RV-9A and Scott Stewart and his wife flew down their 7 from Arlington.

It was a little slow to burn off over by Gig Harbor and Bremerton so I few up the East side.

Just North of Lake Sammamish I headed North West.

Paine field in Everett off in the distance.

Here is Michael's new RV-9A with about 32 hours on it.

At first I thought this was Harry's 150, it looks just like it.

After lunch I headed solo towards Mt Baker. Pretty busy day with lot's of airplanes out flying.

I'd originally planned to fly around Mt. Baker but it was too windy at altitude.

My EFIS was showing 48 knots of wind from the West at about 9500ft. I think I'll definitely stay west of the mountains.

Mears Airport in Concrete

Darrington

Three Fingers

Wow pretty spectacular!

Windy up by Mt Rainier too.

Back at Pierce County Airport the place was packed. Lot's of planes getting ready to take off on 34.

I got a picture of Darin taking off in Harry's 150.
