It's been super cold this week so I thought I would try out my homemade engine pre-heater. (It was still like 18 degrees when I left the house this morning.)
Before I turned it on, my CHT's, EGT's and Oil temp were all about 32 degrees. I let it run about an hour and everything bumped up to about 70. Awesome!
Harry who just got back from California this morning was going to meet me about 12:30. I decided to bomb around a little while I waited.

We ended up flying to Arlington for lunch and practiced some formation along the way.
Man what a great day for flying! Chilly yes, but the air was perfect!
