Now that my wheelpants are pretty much done, I needed to remove the big sawhorse under the spar in order to run the brake lines and install the gear leg and intersection fairings. Since jacking the plane is so nerve wracking, I decided to make these "wing jacks" to help support everything. They are threaded into the tie down holes.
I also supported the front before removing the spar sawhorse.
Very stable now with lots of room to work on the main gear leg stuff.
Here are my "Fairings-Etc" intersection fairings. Not at all cheap, but way nicer than anything I could make from scratch. Van's does not supply these with the kit and wants you to make your own.
I made a template to tape to the gear leg fairings.
