The Pitot tube mount
Van's Pitot tube is just a piece of tubing sticking out into the wind. This mount is for a heated Pitot tube more like the one you would see on a certified airplane.
Riveting the flap braces
Our EAA chapter Technical Counselor came by with his wife and checked out my wings. He wanted to see them before I put the bottom skins on.
Everything is great!
The plexi glass light covers for the wing tips come in one piece that has to be cut in half.
After a couple hours of trimming, filing and sanding. One done and one to go.
Right lower skins complete!
