Got some great simulated instrument time today. Wore the hood for about 1 and 1/2 hours with Nick as my Safety Pilot. We flew from Crest to Arlington and shot the LOC 34 low approach, then it was off to Paine field for the LOC 16R. I would have done the ILS approach but their glideslope is inop. After a low approach at Paine we flew to Renton and shot the NDB 15 approach with a circle to land since the winds were out of the North. A full stop landing at Renton closed our IFR flightplan. We taxied back to the runway, took off and flew VFR back to Crest Airpark. The whole flight was great today!
