I got to do something pretty special today. A local engineer Raymond Chalker recently passed away and our EAA chapter was asked if we could do a missing man flyby. Ray was a Naval Aviator before becoming an engineer. Ray engineered the Tacoma Dome along with several other Tacoma landmarks. Marv put our group together and I was selected to be #3 (The missing man plane.) I've really enjoyed formation flying but today was extra special being able to pay tribute to Ray.
